Who it applies to

Every person or entity registered with the Quebec Enterprise Registrar. A corporation filing a CO-17 discharges it with that return; others file it separately.

Important qualification

The ONLY obligation escaping the “one line per confirmation” rule: it receives NO separate confirmation when filed with the CO-17. Enter it on the board only for entities that file it separately, otherwise you invent a task that does not exist.

Is it required if I already file a CO-17?
It is made with the CO-17, without a separate step or confirmation number. It is the only obligation on this list escaping the “one line per confirmation” rule.
What is the risk of repeated omission?
Striking off the registration. The consequence is not a penalty but loss of status: a struck entity can no longer validly contract under its name.
